What's the difference between speed and pace?
Although both values convey the same thing, they are diametrically opposed. This means calculating pace tells you how much time it takes to travel a certain distance, whereas speed tells you how many kilometers you can cover in an hour. As a result, multiple measuring units are used to describe these quantities. For example, the pace is measured in time per unit of distance, whereas speed is measured as distance divided by time.
To calculate speed and pace, you'll need two formulas:
Speed (km/h) = distance (km) / time (h)
Pace (sec/km) = time (sec) / distance (km)
